One of the biggest African fashion brands in the world approached us to take their digital presence to the next level. We improved the UX of the website, managed their marketing campaigns, and ultimately, increased engagement and conversions.
Identity.
We revamped the brand identity and transformed it to be more vibrant and contemporary. We wanted this branding makeover to reflect how the brand had grown and evolved over the years into a market leader. In order to create that sense of continuous evolution and liveliness, we updated the brand colours monthly and this was reflected on all channels including web, social media and emails.
Social Media.
Our social media strategy was centred on mobilising their online community and empowering them to become winners in their fields. Through content like brand story times and Women’s Crush Wednesday segment that proved to be popular amongst followers, we wanted to humanise the brand, making it not just a place customers could go to for beautiful authentic African clothing, but a hub of inspiration and motivation.
Content Marketing.
The Grass-Fields blog was really where we could get across important messages, in less condensed ways. We researched and wrote about exciting things that were happening in Africa and the diaspora and gave Black owned businesses a platform to share their journeys with the world. The founders were passionate about giving back to the community that made their dreams come true and we executed that with great enthusiasm and compelling writing services.
Email Marketing.
To keep customers updated on brand activity, we utilised our copywriting and graphic design services to create engaging yet informative email marketing campaigns.
Website.
We wanted to give the website a makeover to enhance the user experience and we did so by making it more functional. For example we added features like estimated shipping for their largely international customer base and made the buyer journey smoother.
