Project: GAIN Education

Project Details

GAIN Education

We are proud to introduce a rebranding initiative we undertook for the esteemed Global Academy International (GAI) schools in Qatar. As they embarked on a journey of international expansion via a franchising model, with plans to establish schools in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC region, it became clear that their existing identity did not reflect their stature as a leading educational institution. To align with their growth and strategic vision, we helped GAI transition from being seen as individually owned private schools to a cohesive international network.

Strategy.

A strategic brand positioning exercise was crucial for the evolution of this established school. With the founders aiming to expand internationally and provide educational excellence on a larger scale, we recognised that the existing brand was not suitable for reaching new audiences or supporting franchise owners. We renamed the institution to GAIN (Global Academy International Network) for better international recall and connection. We also collaborated closely with the founders to align the new branding with their mission, vision, and values.

Identity.

We executed a visual identity rebrand that blends tradition with modernity. While redesigning the logo and introducing an updated crest, we maintained key legacy elements to preserve the school’s rich history. The Feather Quill, symbolising academia, and the Shield, representing trust and excellence, were retained and refreshed. These elements were integrated into a modern aesthetic with a vibrant new colour palette, enhancing the brand’s appeal to international audiences. The rebrand also included a full suite of brand styling for print and digital marketing, updated signage, stationery materials, and extensive brand guidelines. The revitalised identity positions GAIN as a leader in international education, emphasising its commitment to student empowerment on a global scale.
