We recently completed a brand creation project for ‘Spirits Kiosk’, a prominent online alcohol retailer in the UK and a subsidiary of the esteemed Enotria & Coe company. Originally known as ‘Gin Kiosk’, the company experienced significant growth and expanded its focus beyond gin to encompass the entire spirits market. This expansion necessitated a new name and brand identity to accurately reflect their broadened product range.
Our goal was to craft a brand that combined the authority and scale of a major online store with the authenticity and expertise of a local independent retailer. The resulting ‘Spirits Kiosk’ name and identity perfectly encapsulate this blend, positioning them as a comprehensive and trusted source for spirits enthusiasts across the UK.
A key highlight was the creation of a unique, hand-illustrated logo. This detailed sketch depicted a spirits bottle cleverly transformed into a kiosk, symbolising the brand’s innovative approach to the spirits market. This creative concept resonated strongly with customers, reinforcing Spirits Kiosk’s position as a forward-thinking leader, especially in their support for emerging drinks brands.
Additionally, we developed consistent identities for Spirits Kiosk’s partner entities: ‘Spirits Beacon’, a blog, and ‘Spirits Society’, dedicated to events. These identities were designed to complement the primary brand while maintaining their distinct purposes, ultimately creating a cohesive brand ecosystem.
With the new identity in place, we shifted our focus onto user experience design to ensure consistent brand application and an enhanced customer journey. Our efforts centred on streamlining the process of finding and purchasing alcohol, making it straightforward and user-friendly. Using Figma, we created a prototype that detailed our design vision, which was then brought to life by Spirits Kiosk’s in-house development team. This ensured a seamless integration of the new brand identity with a focus on ease and efficiency for the customer.
