Spirits Beacon is the successor of The Gin Foundry, a renowned educator, connoisseur and merchant of spirits. The business was experiencing massive growth, expanding into new territories and product lines but the brand wasn’t in the best position to make this transition happen. Our task was to pull off a complete transformation by creating a new brand identity for Spirits Beacon as well as the sub-brands within the company – Spirits Kiosk and Spirits Society.
To portray the business’ expertise, artisanal approach and attention to detail we decided to take an illustrative route for the logo. We created three different hand-drawn icons which represented Spirits Beacon, Spirits Kiosk and Spirits Society. The icons are powerful, interesting, engaging and they give each brand a vibrant personality. To accompany the icons, we provided a new set of colours with a different one for each part of the business. Overall, the premium feel of the palette combined with the intricate, craftsmanlike aesthetic of the icons has solidified the brand’s perception as a high quality, modern and exciting leader in the alcoholic drinks business.
