Sea Change brings two different worlds together, the production of fine wine and the prevention of ocean pollution. We were given the task to marry them harmoniously via a full website redesign and new eCommerce functionality. The elements of sustainability and eco-friendly ethics were paramount but we also needed to portray the quality of the wines.
We created a high-impact design with breathtaking imagery of a beautiful, bright beach meeting the textured blue of the ocean. It symbolises the convergence of the two parts of the business, and it feels impressive and immersive. Overall, the UX is seamless and simple thanks to abundant space and a clean appearance. There are also elements of the ocean scattered throughout the website, like seashells on a shore, keeping the brand consistent.
As eCommerce in the UK was exploding due to the virus-induced lockdown, we acted fast to implement a new shop function into the website. We designed an eCommerce store which was simple, uncluttered and inviting to explore. Overall, the products are presented in a way which feels premium and high quality. Finally, we introduced a subscription option empowering customers to receive their favourite wines on a regular basis.
